Victoria is a purebred Mainer, charting a loop from Gray-New Gloucester, Yarmouth and now Lewiston. She did detour to Berkeley, California for a brief interlude to obtain her certificate to become a personal trainer, however since returning to ‘Vacationland’ she has acquired significant administrative experience working in both the hospital and university systems, at Mid Coast Hospital and Bowdoin College respectively.
Obviously dealing with patients and foreign students means she has developed exceptional communication and organizational skills, making her the ideal person to explain treatment plans and review insurance benefits to those who may be feeling a little overwhelmed by the whole process. Fortunately, she also cites her comedic humor as a superpower, which not only puts her in good company with the office culture, but guarantees her as a fan favorite with patients. Unlike a few others in the office, she is definitely not afraid of going to the dentist.
Because she has a hard time sitting still, preferring a fast pace with no downtime (clearly a perfect complement to the front office) she channels any excess energy into multitudes of other outdoor pursuits that require little more than a mountain (and a snowboard) or a mountain (and hiking boots). While having an animal is not a requirement to work here, Victoria is very much part of the pack with her own Puerto Rican rescue mutt (some combination of dachshund, corgi and chihuahua) called Mikey, after Michelangelo, no not that one, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle one.
