Peter - Dentist & Business Owner
Dr. Drews has an undergraduate degree in Engineering from Michigan State, and a doctoral degree in Dentistry from the University of Michigan. He served as an officer in the Navy and was stationed in Chicago, California and the Middle East. He moved to Maine in 2008 when he purchased the practice after Dr. Bizier retired. When he's not in the office, Dr. Drews can usually be found skiing the double blacks at Sunday River, poking around Lowes for another home improvement project, or exercising his over-sized labrador at the Lewiston dog park.
Clinical Team
Mindy- Dental Hygienist
Mindy is a graduate of Westbrook College and has been working as a Registered Dental Hygienist for 17 years, and has had extensive training in cosmetic dentistry. Mindy's spare time is taken up driving the 'soccer mom minivan' to various games throughout the northeast, and is a recent convert to Extreme Couponing.
Stacey- Dental Hygienist
Stacey is a graduate of the University of New England and has been practicing as a Registered Dental Hygienist for 11 years. She has a special interest in periodontal therapy. Stacey enjoys spending time with her family and doing outdoor activities.
Julie- Dental Assistant
Julie has been working in the dental field since 1993, including dental forensics and teaching a dental assisting class. She is a Certified Dental Assistant and Radiology certified. She has been with this practice for 18 years. In her free time, Julie moonlights as a personal taxi service for her son and friends at Edward Little High School's football, basketball and lacrosse games.
Matt- Dental Assistant
Matt has been with this practice since 2009 and is a Radiology Certified Dental Assistant. When he is not assisting Dr. Drews, he is responsible for completing lab. work and ordering supplies. By evenings, Matt plays guitar in a band, and spends his weekends hiking his two dogs on pretty much every mountain that there is in Maine.
Business Team
Disa- Treatment Coordinator
Disa has been with the practice since 2009, but has ten years of experience working in human services. She is available to review treatment plans and discuss financials. She can also assist with coordinating referrals to the specialists. Disa has a hard time being still, and spends much of her free moments doing something active and/or traveling. Unfortunately, she is not very good with directions.
Diane- Insurance Coordinator
Diane has worked in the dental field since 1999, she has been with this practice for 12 years. She is available to assist with any questions or concerns regarding insurance claims and billing. Diane is also a long time motorcross mom and wife, and When she's not at the races, she's hiking, kayaking or shaking her thing at Zumba.
Lisa- Patient Coordinator
Lisa has been with the practice since 2010 and brings 10 years of experience working in the dental/medical field. She is the primary point of contact for patients regarding questions about scheduling and appointments. Lisa is our very own "foodie", and can provide recommendations on any restaurant and menu in the greater Androscoggin county.
